Professional Art Therapist and Artist
Art therapy is a form of expressive therapy that provides the client with an opportunity to increase a sense of well-being, to explore personal problems and potentials, to resolve conflicts, and to facilitate self-awareness and understanding through a variety of artistic activities.
As an art therapist my role is to engage the client in a healing process by fostering and encouraging creative expression. The Services I provide are founded on a therapeutic relationship of acceptance, support and trust.
As an artist I work mostly in Mixed Media and Acrylics. I paint on canvas and paper and love to Art Journal. Please see my Studio page for more information.
I am pleased to work with children, teens, adults, families and groups within the greater Victoria area.
I acknowledge with gratitude that I live and work on the ancestral lands of the Xwesepsum (KO-sap-SUM; Esquimalt) and Lekwungen (Songhees) ancestors and families.
